Are you tired of not achieving your desired figure despite committing to a regular fitness regimen and healthy diet? While both are keys to losing weight, weight and diet-resistant fat can still prevent you from slimming down your desired areas. Our body contouring experience consists of abdominoplasty– more commonly known as a tummy tuck– and S.A.F.E.Lipo® to help craft your picture-perfect figure.
Cosmetic Surgery of DFW in Fort Worth, TX is led by Dr. Dustin C. Derrick who wants to help all of his patients look and feel like the best versions of themselves through a body contouring. When considering body contouring, it’s important to consider a plastic surgeon with expertise like Dr. Derrick rather than a general surgeon, OB/GYN, dermatologist or otherwise to ensure your procedure is performed with utmost safety and efficacy. Contact us today to schedule your consultation and discover if this exciting procedure may be the right choice for you.
Body Contouring at Cosmetic Surgery of DFW
A Tummy tuck procedure, otherwise referred to as abdominoplasty, involves the extraction of excess skin and fat to sculpt a firmer, smoother abdomen. Since each of our patients is very unique, Dr. Derrick tailors all tummy tucks to your aesthetic vision. Additionally, women who may experience laxity in the abdominal muscles (diastasis recti) can have this corrected during a tummy tuck as well as receive a monsplasty to establish a harmonious, sexy figure.
We can combine a tummy tuck with limited liposuction all the way to 360° Lipo, or circumferential lipo. Dr. Derrick utilizes the S.A.F.E.Lipo® technique– which he believes has improved results over traditional liposuction– involves a systematic approach to liposuction that allows for correction of contour irregularities. While this approach may require a longer procedure duration, many of our patients have found true excitement in their reflections.
Many of our patients have opted to combine 360° Lipo with a Brazilian Butt Lift to utilize the extracted fat to enhance their lower curves at the time of their initial lipo procedure. Dr. Derrick highly recommends deciding on this before your procedure to save the expenses of storing the harvested fat for a later date or discarding it altogether.
